Lonnie Lee Workman, 82, of Kenova went to be with the Lord Friday, September 11, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 14, 2020 at Rollins Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Byard officiating. Interment will follow in Dock’s Creek Cemetery. Lonnie was born August 31, 1938 in Kenova, W.Va. a son of the late John and Fannie Lockwood Workman. He retired as a machinest from McSweeney’s Mill and Mine Service after 30 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Don, Bill, Johnny Lucian Ray and Emma Mae. He is leaving behind his wonderful and loving wife of 56 years Deloris Jane Workman; precious daughter and son-in-law Teresa Spurlock (Darrell) six grandchildren Scott Slayton (Melanie), Ryan Slayton (Brooklyn), Brent Taft, Hali Lett (Eric), Jade Spurlock and Clay Spurlock; four great-grandchildren Kinley and Khloe Slayton and Ava and Mason Lett and a brother Frank Workman (Glenna). He also leaves behind his companion, comfort dog that he loved dearly, Pee Wee. He loved to fish on his pontoon at Beech Fork Lake. He enjoyed hunting with the Lacy’s who welcomed him into their family. He made memories with his daughter and grandchildren camping and boating. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. ALICE CHARLENE HICKMAN WILSON, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 6, 2020. She was born on April 25, 1935, in Huntington, W.Va., to the late Hazel and Edward Hickman. She was a proud graduate of Huntington High School in the Class of 1953. Charlene was preceded in death by the love of her life, Clifford G. Wilson; beloved son Clifford G. “Buddy” Wilson III; and brother Robert “Bob” Hickman. She leaves behind her adoring family, including her daughter, Linda Lee Wilson (David) Spangler; son Daniel Scott (Ann Marie) Wilson; granddaughter Kristi (Philip) Hebner; great-grandchildren Riley and Bryce Hebner; brother Richard “Dick” (Judy) Hickman; sister Nancy Hickman (Mike) McGraw; sister-in-law Coby Clancy Hickman; loving nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. RICKY MERLIN JIVIDEN, 61, of Kenova, husband of Cynthia Pierce Jividen, passed from this life to a new life with Jesus on September 4, 2020. Ricky was born October 8, 1958 in Red House, W.Va., son of Glen (Belinda) Jividen and the late Edna Sexton Hatten. Ricky was preceded in death by sister, Andrea Jividen Pennington, and stepbrother, Benjamin “BJ” Ronk. He is survived by son, Joshua (Amanda) Jividen of Medina, Ohio; daughter, Amber Jividen of New Richmond, Ohio; brothers, Randy Jividen of Kenova, and Anthony (Tammy) Jividen of Barboursville; stepsister, Stacie Ronk Patel (Mukesh) of Holly Springs, N.C.; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. Kenneth Miller Smith, Sr. age 79, of Huntington, W.Va. passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Heritage Center in Huntington. He was born October 10, 1940 in Kenova, W.Va. a son of the late, Lacy Miller Smith and Rosemary Gault Smith. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Kay Smith Lovett and one grandson, John Kenneth Walker, II. Ken had worked as a truck driver. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Linda was a member of the Westmoreland United Methodist Church and the Alpha Delta Kappa teacher’s sorority. DANA GAIL FOSTER, 80, of Ceredo, W.Va., entered the gates of Glory, August 30, 2020, after a short illness. He was born April 8, 1940, in Milton, W.Va., a son of the late George Luther and Neva Evelyn White Foster. Dana was also preceded in death by his mother-in-love, Warelda Walters McCloud. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donita McCloud Foster; one daughter, Shawna Foster of St. Albans, W.Va.; one son and daughter, Zane and Rhonda Leffingwell Foster of Lavalette, W.Va.; grandchildren Kayla Foster and Anthony Vance of Huntington, W.Va.; a brother Jimmy (Juanita) Foster of Milton, W.Va.; three sisters, Carolyn Foster (Blane) Perry of Milton, W.Va., Marlene McCloud Simmons of Springfield, Mo., Katrina McCloud (Kenny) Childers of Huntington, W.Va.; nieces and nephews whom he loved very much and many special “children” and “grandchildren”-in-love. Shirley Wyatt Plymale, 74, of Ashland, KY passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday August 15, 2020. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Shirley was born June 27, 1946 in Ashland, a daughter of the late James Robert and Mary “Kate” Wyatt. Shirley graduated from Ashland Paul G. Blazer High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, James Early and Ricky Allen Plymale and one daughter, Katherine “Katie” Plymale. She is survived by one son, Michael Early; two grandchildren, Kamryn and Kalen Finley and a brother, Ronnie Waldron. Shirley worked hard and had a zest for life. She worked for the First Bank of Ceredo and then Rocco’s Ristorante until she retired to take care of her mother. She was kind hearted and would do anything she could to help her family or friends. Shirley was one of those people if you hadn’t seen for months and then ran into her, it was like you’d never been a part. She will always be remembered with love. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army, member of the American Legion Post 93, VFW, DAV and Huntington Masonic Lodge #53 AF & AM where he was a 32nd Degree Mason.
