  1. I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful it was to grow up around Russell Football and to watch you coach over the years. A lot of wonderful memories came from those years. I can’t even begin to comprehend the number of lives that you touched and changed. You took coaching to a completely different level. There will never another one like you.

You were very kind to me and my family over the years and it was a great sadness when I learned of your passing. I hope you are now able to rest easy reunited with the loved ones that went before you. God Bless you Ivan . I will never forget you.

  2. Ivan,
It was a privilege to be an assistant coach on your staff during the mid 70’s thru the early 1980’s. It was more of an honor to simply be called your friend. A lot of wonderful memories that I will look back on and cherish. Rest easy my friend. You will be missed.
    Sincerely,
    Jerry Klaiber
