Plura Jane McClanahan, age 66, went to be with the Lord June 30, 2022. She is the daughter of the late Gene and Emma Jean Black with whom she celebrates today in Heaven. She was preceded in death by a brother Robert Michael Black. Remaining is a brother Richard Black and wife Lisa, and her sister and BFF Rebecca (Becky) Davis and husband Randy Davis. She is blessed with many nieces, nephews and cousins who will love and cherish her forever, especially Kelly, Charlie, Sarah and Zack.
Jane has been married to Charles Timothy McClanahan for 45 years, a marriage that has grown and prospered into a blessed union that will never be severed by time or space. It has been a joy observing their love; never has a spouse been more attentive, more caring than Tim, especially in time of her need.
Jane graduated from Vinson High School in 1973, after which she was employed by Tradewell Supermarket and West Virginia Electric, before going to work for her father at Gene’s Automotive Service, where she worked until they both retired.
Jane is a remarkable woman. Her talents have included cooking, baking, party planning, and especially, showering her love to family and friends in so many ways.
Jane is blessed with many young nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who know her as TT (short for Auntie). Jane (TT), along with Amazon.com, has been a source of joy and fun over the years for these beautiful children.

I loved the Black family so much. My early teenage years were spent in church with them. So sorry for your loss
Where do I start. Plural and Becky were my siblings playmates. Loved going to their house to play! Watching her grow up into a beautiful woman who placed family and God before anything else.
Praying God will place a hedge of angels round Tim Becky and Rick to comfort and give peace to you.
Love you all
