Judy Lynn Robertson Null,74, of Kenova, WV., went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, October 4, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Ceredo with Pastor Rodney Hale and Pastor Scott Byard officiating. Interment will follow in Dock’s Creek Cemetery. Judy was a daughter of the late Virgil and Della Mae Fortner Robertson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Sara Frances “Francie” Roberts and a sister-in-law Linda Null. Survivors include her beloved husband Charles Albert Null; one brother and sister-in-law James Robertson ( Cheryl); two brothers-in-law Hobert “Whitey” Null and Steve Roberts; two sisters-in-law Donna Smith (Colin) and Trenna Null; three nieces Michele McAnallan (David), Sharon Elkins and Lisa Bailey (David); Five nephews Brian Null (Nancy), Charles L. Moore (Barbara), Michael Sean Roberts, Matthew Roberts and Zachary Robertson (Rebecca). She has a host of great nieces and nephews that she loved including being called “meme” by Hannah Beth & Matthew Shane Roberts and William L. “Liam” Roberts. Judy was a graduate from Ceredo-Kenova High School class of 1962. She was a volunteer of Saint Mary’s Hospital in Radiation Oncology and was a lifetime auxiliary member. She was a 24 year breast cancer survivor. Her favorite scripture that she lived by was the 23rd Psalm “The Lord is my shepherd…”. Flowers will be appreciated but donations may be made in her honor to the Huntington City Mission 624 10th St. Huntington, WV. 25701. WILLIAM RAY CHAFFIN, 85, of Russell, Ky., formerly of Kenova, W.Va., passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018, at his residence. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova, with Rev. Danny E. Keaton officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova. He was born November 17, 1932, in Fort Gay, W.Va., a son of the late Christopher and America Perry Chaffin. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Armco, having been the Supervisor of Maintenance. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mauntrey Marie Crisel Chaffin and a daughter, Sally Chaffin Thacker Edwards. Tom was born July 1, 1943 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Emmitt Harley and Bessie Boling Daniels. He was retired as a Master Sargent from the U.S. Army. While on active duty, he was in Special Forces as a Green Beret and a medic with the Army Rangers in Vietnam. Charles George Perdue,58, of Huntington, died August 20, 2018, at his home after loosing his battle with addiction. He will be remembered as a strong willed man who lived life on his own terms. He was an accomplished mechanic, motorcycle enthusiast, and always had a soft heart for animals. Unfortunately, he will now also be a statistic in the drug epidemic that is so prevalent in our state. Elaine was born July 3, 1943, in Kenova, W.Va., a daughter of the late Andrew Wayne and Reba Ball Riggs. She was a graduate of C-K High School and retired from the Wayne County School system, where she was the secretary at Ferndale Elementary and Northern Wayne County Vocational School.
