Danny Ernest Plymale, 78 , passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at his daughter’s residence. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Rollins Funeral Home with Pastors Rod Justice and Greg Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow in Ceredo Crescent Hill Cemetery. Danny was born January 22, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late Ernest and Evelyn Casto Plymale. He was a retired engineer with the CSX Railroad. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Norma Lee Adkins Plymale and his brother Larry Plymale. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Mark Dillon; two grandsons James Daniel Dillon and Jonathan Tyler Adkins; and great-granddaughter Aspyn Rose Adkins. He’s also survived by his brother’s wife Lana Plymale and two nieces Robin Wahl and Teresa Robertson. He had 7 brothers- and sisters-in-law and their spouses through his wife Norma; and nineteen wonderful nieces and nephews. Robert Lee Knapp
Robert Lee Knapp, 91, of Foster, KY, formerly of Ceredo, WV passed away on November 14, 2023. He was born March 12, 1932 in Spencer, WV a son of the late, Led and Justine Henthorn Knapp. Bob was a retired Air Traffic Controller. He was a US Air Force Veteran. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Ceredo. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gary and Paul Knapp; a daughter-in-law, Jean Knapp and a brother-in-law, Lowell Cottrell. Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Norma Fran Workman Knapp; a son, David Knapp; a daughter, Jaye Lynn Hebel and her husband, Edward; three granddaughters, Sara, Ashley and Emily; six great grandchildren, Dylan, Connor, Leigh Lynn, Silas, Sully and Frankie; two sisters, Lena Cottrell and Mary Frances (Jon) Timmons; and two sisters-in-law, Brenda Knapp and Loretta Knapp. The family will receive friends from noon to 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, WV. Kim Ellen Black Cyrus, 67, of Kenova passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 in Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Kim was born January 26, 1956 in Huntington a daughter of the late Rev. Harold and Norma Legg Black. Janice Helen Caudill Milam
On November 10, 2023 Janice Helen Caudill Milam, 81 years old, of Kenova, WV left this world to begin her heavenly journey. She leaves behind John Denver Milam, her husband of 66 years. The first time he saw her, he thought she was the prettiest girl he had ever seen. He knew she was the one for him. She also leaves a daughter, Kim Cameron and a son and daughter-in-law Chris and Benita Milam. They worked together to care for her and will miss her here, but have faith that they will see her again someday. She leaves 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a special niece, a special caregiver and their families: Kasey Cameron, Mason, Jennifer and Jaize Johannesen, Seth, Morgan and Kaiden Milam, Alex and Jack Milam, Mary and Brian Ashton, Kellie Sue and Ben Nunley, Etta and Jerry Payne. She loved and cared for all of them and her absence will leave an empty spot in their lives. She was preceded in death by her parents and her only brother: Reva and Ernest Caudill and Bill Caudill. Bobby Lee “Bob” Caldwell, 83, of Kenova passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at his residence. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Bob was born May 10, 1940 in Kenova a son of the late Bogar and Eula Parsley Caldwell. He was a retired autobody repairman. Bob had a passion for music and he played throughout the tri-state with numerous friends and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruby L. Caldwell and five siblings Howard, June, Manford, Emogene and Ted. Alberta “Bert” Spence Blair
Alberta “Bert” Spence Blair 89, transferred to her heavenly home, November 7, 2023 at Paramount Senior Living, Ona WV. Bert was a life long resident of Kenova, WV and operated Bert’s Beauty Shop at her home/business for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. (JT) Blair and infant brother, Roland. She was the daughter of Albert and Josephine Spence and was born in Kenova. Her many cousins would like express a special thanks to Paramount Senior Living for their care of Bert as well as the neighbors who assisted Bert and TJ while living in their home. She was a faithful member of the Flatwoods Church of God as well as a choir member which she enjoyed greatly. In her last days one of her comforts was singing while listening to gospel songs. Lisa Dawn Dingess Harper, 48, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away October 24, 2023. She was born November 22, 1974. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Chuck Dingess. She is survived by her children, Hannah and Eian Harper; her mother, Tammy (Bill) Rice; stepmother, Becky Dingess and sister, Kelli Morrison. Also left are her nieces, nephews and special friend, Kevin Lett. Lisa graduated from Buffalo-Wayne High School in 1993 and Marshall University in 1997 with a degree in Finance. She was an avid trail and distance runner and Marshall sports fan. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova for close family and friends.

Freddie was born March 17, 1950 in Williamson, WV. a son of the late James Luther and Garnett Ferguson. He was the Founder and Senior Pastor for 42 years at the Prichard Church of God. He retired from the Wayne County Board of Education. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, who raised him, Fred and Ida Ferguson; his first wife MaryAnn Capan Ferguson and his son Freddie B. Ferguson. Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years Marion M. Cochenour Ferguson; grandchildren Shannon B. Ferguson and Charity A.
