John O’Dell, 79, of Wayne, WV. passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Maple Street Church of God in Kenova, where he attended,with Pastor Greg Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dock’s Creek Cemetery. He was born December 12, 1938 in Prichard, WV. a son of the late Loran and Cassie Gilkerson O’Dell. John was retired from the General Motors Company. SANDRA SUE EVERMAN BETTS, 51, of Kenova, W.Va., passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at her residence. Memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, W.Va., with Pastor Marty Gute officiating. Sandra was born July 11, 1966 in Ashland, Ky., a daughter of the late Harold Goebel and Lillia Mae Jacobs Everman. She was a self-employed beautician. Hatten, Rose

Rose Hatten died June 6th in Little River, SC. She was born March 2, 1929 in Branchland, WV the daughter of the late Ivan and Mae Heck. She is survived by her son, David Hatten and his wife Ruth Ann of Little River SC., and her grandson Brian Hatten of Atlanta, GA. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Leonard Keith Hatten. She is survived by her brother Larry Heck (Jo) of Ceredo, her niece Melinda Marion of Bluffton, SC. Also by her brothers and sisters in law, Frank and Tiny Hatten, Don Hatten and Eleanor Meadows. Arrangements for a memorial service have not been set at this time. Her remains will be buried in Hillcrest Cemetery in Kenova, WV.

Beverly Hattery Williamson,72, of Prichard, WV. passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 in the Wayne Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 22, 1945 in Massillon, Ohio daughter of the late Harry and Anna Faye Hattery. She is survived by sons Tary Williamson and Danny Holmes and a daughter Karen Doolan. SAMUEL CARTER WORKMAN, 77, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Monday, May 28, 2018, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. There will be a graveside funeral service, 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Alley Cemetery, off of Centerville Road in Prichard, with Pastor Zach Johnson officiating. He was born May 27, 1941, in Prichard, W.Va., a son of the late Etta Canterbury Workman. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Janet Dean Workman. Survivors include two sons, Eric Workman and Michael Workman; one daughter, Melissa Workman; three grandchildren, Millie, Macie and Maggie Workman; one brother, Tom Workman and one sister Rita Joos.
