Mary Ward Edwards, 84, of Rush, KY passed away Friday, October 23, 2026 surrounded by her family. Mary was born June 19, 1942 in Ceredo, WV a daughter of the late Albert E. and Sadie Pruitt Ward. She had worked as a packer for Atlas Van Lines. In addition to her parents Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Edwards; four brothers, Bill Ward, John Ward, Jim Ward and Albert Ward and also two sisters, Lilly Ward, Mary Ward; and Ruth Sexton. Mary is survived by two sons, Sammy Artrip and his wife, Debbie and Brian Artrip and his wife, Kay; two daughters, Lisa Keelin and her husband, Richard and Shawna Rollins and her husband, John; grandchildren, Sammy Jo Artrip, Jackie Chincarine and her husband, Mike, Richard Allen Keelin and his wife, Megan, Derek Keelin, Ryan and Vanessa, Richard Townsend and his wife, Susan, and Jonathon Townsend and his wife, Brianna; nine great grandchildren and two, great great grandchildren. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of Open Arms Pentecostal Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 27, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, WV. Funeral services will begin immediately following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Thorny Artrip officiating. Burial will follow in Ceredo Crescent Hill Cemetery.
