Mazel Maynard Gibson, 88, of Huntington, WV passed away Friday, August 28, 2026 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born April 8, 1938 in Inez, KY a daughter of the late Clement and Belvia Dalton Maynard. In addition to her parents Mazel was also preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Lee “Butch” Gibson; a brother, Dan Maynard; and her sister, Lorraine Vance. Mazel enjoyed watching General Hospital everyday on television and she was an avid Elvis fan. She loved her family and was a dedicated and loving caregiver to her husband Butch when he began having health problems until he passed away. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diana (Dale) Adkins; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger (Elizabeth) Gibson and Tim (Vickie) Gibson; two sisters, Norma (Frank) Lavender and Estelle Johnson; grandchildren, April, Samantha, Brandon, Tabatha, Chad, Justin and Anna; great grandchildren, Hunter, Bryleigh, Aubriana and Elliana. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2026 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, WV.
