Helen Faye Cremeans Nance, 87, of Huntington, WV., passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Cabell Healthcare Center. Helen was born July 1, 1937 in Huntington, WV. a daughter of the late Clarence and Ruby Waugh Cremeans. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son Steven Ray Nance and five brothers. Survivors include two sons Homer Nance (Charlotte) and Greg Nance (Kimberly); grandchildren Johnny Persyn, Danny Persyn, Kenneth Turley and Holley Turley, Criss Nance, Steven Nance and Bethany Nance, Tracy Nance Hutchinson (Joey), Anthony Nance and one brother Irvin Cremeans (Darlene). Shona Jane Graham, 36, of Kenova, WV., passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at her residence. Shona was born October 5, 1988 in Orlando, FL. a daughter of Glenn and Pamela Sullivan Graham. She earned her Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration and was a General Manager with Fazoli’s. She was preceded in death by a brother Scott Graham. In addition to her parents, survivors include wife Hillary Graham; son Jayse Graham; four brothers Jason Graham, Kelley Graham, Fred Serrano and Glenn Graham, Jr.; two sisters Lisa Serrano and Tamera Judy and special friend Ashley Fields. Robert Stacy Long

Robert Stacy Long, Lieutenant Colonel US Army Retired, 72, husband of Dorothy Maylone Long, of Catlettsburg, KY, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Bob was born May 23, 1952 a son of the late Robert Stacy Long, Sr. and Frances Collins Long. Bob retired from the Air Force, Army and the Veterans Administration after many years of dedicated service. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, November 19, 2024 beginning at Noon at the Kenova United Methodist Church, of which he was a member, with Pastor Andrew Tennant officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast, with members of American Legion Post 93 Kenova Honor Guard performing military rites. Bob was active at his church and led the Wednesday night bible study. He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his beloved family. Bob was a history buff and enjoyed participating in Civil War Skirmishes. He was president of the Eastern Kentucky Military History Group. He was also a gun enthusiast, an outdoorsman and hunter. Bob was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan who traveled to see them play whenever he could. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one son, Stacy Scott (Jessica) Long; two daughters, Erica Grace (Timothy) Huling and Patricia (Carlos) Carrasco; two brothers, Steve (Michelle) Long and David (Kelley) Long; a sister, Jan McBee; six grandchildren, Thiago and Thalya Carrasco, Orion and Rose Long and Chelsea and Owen Huling and his cat, Smoky. Jack R. Streets, Sr.

Jack R. Streets, Sr. of Ashland, KY, formerly of Kenova, WV, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital from complications due to ALS. Jack was 82 years old. Family will welcome visitors on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Kenova United Methodist Church, 503 15th Street, Kenova, WV. A funeral service will follow, officiated by Pastor Andrew Tennant, with internment at the Gearhart-Martin Cemetery, Cannonsburg, KY. Following internment, the church will host a bereavement dinner in the gathering space.
Jack was born in Kenova, WV, to the late Sally Frances (Ball) Streets and the late James Edward Streets, on February 27, 1942. Jack joined his beloved sister Virginia (Jenny) Streets Fletcher to complete the family of four. Jack spent many happy years with his late sister and their parents at their home in Lakeview Heights, Ceredo, WV, where he was part of a loving community of neighbors which were like an extended family. Jack graduated from Buffalo (Wayne) High School where he played football and basketball, as well as playing in the marching band as the bass drummer. Clyde Edward “Jack” Wilson, 80, of South Point, Ohio went to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 20, 2024 in Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova with Pastor Manfred Langer officiating. He was born June 19, 1944 in Kenova, WV. a son of the late Anthony and Garnet Robertson Wilson. He was a 1962 graduate of Ceredo-Kenova High School. Jack was retired from INCO after 47 years of service. He was a longtime member of the Ceredo Baptist Church and attended Grace Gospel Church. He also attended the Tri-State Bible College until recently. Jack was a dedicated and loving servant to the Lord. He was a wonderful grandpa who was loved by all. In his spare time, he enjoyed studying the bible and looking after everyone’s needs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Marie Wilson Frisby, Jewell Wilson Bell, Louise Wilson Endicott, Phyllis Wilson Ross, Elizabeth Wilson Frazier, Paul Wilson, Bill Wilson and Carl Anthony Wilson. He is survived by his three children Jeff Wilson, Tiffany Copenhaver (Kevin) and Christopher Wilson (Ellie); grandchildren Cody Wilson, Derek Wilson, Dustin Wilson, Hannah Copenhaver, Lindsey Copenhaver, Madi Wilson and Addison Ferguson; great-grandchildren Stetson Wilson and Weston Ferguson; former daughter-in-law Penny Wilson; former wife Carol Wilson and his favorite niece Carol Sue who loved him like her own father.
