Brian Scott Henderson,48, of Huntington, WV., went to be with the Lord Monday, October 8, 2018  at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova with Pastor Roy Bennett, officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. He was born April 5, 1970 in Huntington, WV. He was a Sales Representative for Henderson Electric Motors. Brian was a 1988 graduate of C-K High School and attended WV. Tech, past member of the Kenova Volunteer Fire Department and attended Welcome Home Christian Fellowship in Lucasville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by one brother Todd Matthew Henderson; maternal grandfather Forrest Ross; paternal grandparents Marvin L. and Mary M. Caldwell Henderson and father-in-law David Wilson. Survivors include his beloved wife Mary Elizabeth Wilson Henderson; mother Brenda Ross Henderson; father and step-mother Chester Henderson (Darolynn); maternal grandmother Lois Ross; Mother-in-law Doris Clay Wilson; one brother and sister-in-law Jeremy Henderson (Courtney); several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Brian was a man of God and stood firm on his beliefs. He leaves behind so many friends who will miss his sparkling humor and infectious laughter. He was truly a blessing to everyone he met. Judy Lynn Robertson Null,74, of Kenova, WV., went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, October 4, 2018  at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Ceredo with Pastor Rodney Hale and Pastor Scott Byard officiating. Interment will follow in Dock’s Creek Cemetery. Judy was a daughter of the late Virgil and Della Mae Fortner Robertson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Sara Frances “Francie” Roberts and a sister-in-law Linda Null.  Survivors include her beloved husband Charles Albert Null; one brother and sister-in-law James  Robertson ( Cheryl); two brothers-in-law Hobert “Whitey” Null and Steve Roberts; two sisters-in-law Donna Smith (Colin) and Trenna Null; three nieces Michele McAnallan (David), Sharon Elkins and Lisa Bailey (David); Five nephews Brian Null (Nancy), Charles L. Moore (Barbara), Michael Sean Roberts, Matthew Roberts and Zachary Robertson (Rebecca). She has a host of great nieces and nephews that she loved including being called “meme” by Hannah Beth & Matthew Shane Roberts and William L. “Liam” Roberts. Judy was a graduate from Ceredo-Kenova High School class of 1962. She was a volunteer of Saint Mary’s Hospital in Radiation Oncology and was a lifetime auxiliary member. She was a 24 year breast cancer survivor. Her favorite scripture that she lived by was the 23^rd Psalm “The Lord is my shepherd…”. Flowers will be appreciated but donations may be made in her honor to the Huntington City Mission 624 10th St. Huntington, WV. 25701. The family would like to thank Dr. Kimmey and his staff for all their wonderful care. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the First Baptist Church of Ceredo. WILLIAM RAY CHAFFIN, 85, of Russell, Ky., formerly of Kenova, W.Va., passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018, at his residence. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova, with Rev. Danny E. Keaton officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova. He was born November 17, 1932, in Fort Gay, W.Va., a son of the late Christopher and America Perry Chaffin. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Armco, having been the Supervisor of Maintenance. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mauntrey Marie Crisel Chaffin and a daughter, Sally Chaffin Thacker Edwards. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Shirley Chaffin and Mary Keaton (Danny); two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny Chaffin (Maureen) and Rick Chaffin (Gerri Beth); nine grandchildren, Traci Thacker, Steven Thacker, Scott Chaffin, Erin Maddox, Chris Chaffin, Leslie Keaton, Michele Keaton, Billie Nino and Rylee Chaffin and five great- grandchildren, Ryan, Cannon, Cali, Leland and Myra. Richard Dyrl “Dick” Vass, 88, of Huntington, WV. passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 2:30 P.M. Monday, September 24, 2018 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova with Pastor Scott Byard officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Dick was born July 17, 1930 to the late Henry Aldrick and Lafavor Belle Bean Vass. He retired as Marshall University Bursar after 32 years of service. Curtis Farrel Woods, 72, of Prichard, W.Va., passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018, at his residence. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, September 22, at the Big Otter Community Center, Ivydale, W.Va., with Pastor Wayne Litton officiating. Thomas L. Daniels, 75, of Kenova, WV. passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 14, 2018 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova with Pastor Steve Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Huntington. Tom was born July 1, 1943 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Emmitt Harley and Bessie Boling Daniels. He was retired as a Master Sargent from the U.S. Army. While on active duty, he was in Special Forces as a Green Beret and a medic with the Army Rangers in Vietnam. Elizabeth “Libby” Billups Drown, 81 of Kenova, WV mother, grandmother, and sister joined her beloved husband, Billy Jack Drown in heaven on Monday September, 10, 2018. She was born May 11, 1937 a daughter of the late Harry and Pearl Hodge Billups. She graduated from C-K High School and worked for Dr. John Huntwork as his office manager for many years. Charles George Perdue,58, of Huntington, died August 20, 2018, at his home after loosing his battle with addiction. He will be remembered as a strong willed man who lived life on his own terms. He was an accomplished mechanic, motorcycle enthusiast, and always had a soft heart for animals. Unfortunately, he will now also be a statistic in the drug epidemic that is so prevalent in our state. Though many saw him through the lens of addiction, he truly loved his family and friends, even if we didn’t always see it. ELAINE GAIL RIGGS CRAYCRAFT, 75, of Kenova, W.Va., was united with her Savior, Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Elaine was born July 3, 1943, in Kenova, W.Va., a daughter of the late Andrew Wayne and Reba Ball Riggs. She was a graduate of C-K High School and retired from the Wayne County School system, where she was the secretary at Ferndale Elementary and Northern Wayne County Vocational School. Elaine was a member of First Baptist Church of Kenova and was a children’s Sunday school teacher there and at 20th Street Baptist Church for most of her life.
