Tonya Marie Cole, 56, of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. She was born October 2, 1968 in Huntington a daughter of Marcia Lynn Owens of Huntington and the late Gary Michael Cole. In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by her step father, who raised her, Harold Otis Owens; a sister, Julie Renee Brown and her precious fur babies, Buddy, Bella and Baby. Tonya was dedicated to her family and those who loved her. She loved the State of Tennessee and had always dreamed of living there one day. She enjoyed camping and liked horses and dogs. She was a graduate of Ceredo-Kenova High School. Tonya is survived by her lifetime partner, Christy McCoy; her mother, Marcia Owens and two nieces, Tori & Bella Cole; a son, William Allen (Marissa) Cole and her two granddaughters, Kinzlee and Kelsey Cole; brothers, Donald Matthew Cole and Virginia and Alex Cole; sisters, Lynndell (Shawn) Gilkerson, Elizabeth (Robert) Bare and Ashley Cole; two nephews, Owen and Jasper Boling; special nieces, Mikayla Fudge, Michelle, Mary, and Jean McCoy and Deborah Ferguson; two sisters-in-law, Maggie Bowen and Patty Hutchinson; and her beloved dog, Buster.
