Jewell “Darlene” Michels Adkins, 63, of Barboursville, WV. passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at her residence. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 28, 2019 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, with Pastor Greg Tomlinson officiating. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Darlene was born February 1, 1956 in Huntington, W.Va. daughter of the late Robert Fielder, Maxine Michels and the late Della Jewell Brumfield Burton. Darlene was retired from the Cabell County Courthouse and enjoyed making blankets and pillows for out patients at the children’s hospital and the V.A. Medical Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Fielder and a sister Diane Treziel. Survivors include her children Larry Dalrymple (April), Carman Elmore, Aaron Dalrymple (Megan) and Addison Michels; grandchildren Cheyenne, Gage, Michaila (Zach), Austyn (Tianna), Tylor (Alex), Emily and Cameron; great-grandchildren Jaxon and siblings Earl Michels, Regina Hudson, Donald Fielder, Bobby Fielder (Tammy) Clarissa Michels (Greg) and Kellie Fischer.
