Alberta “Bert” Spence Blair

Alberta “Bert” Spence Blair 89, transferred to her heavenly home, November 7, 2023 at Paramount Senior Living, Ona WV. Bert was a life long resident of Kenova, WV and operated Bert’s Beauty Shop at her home/business for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. (JT) Blair and infant brother, Roland. She was the daughter of Albert and Josephine Spence and was born in Kenova. Her many cousins would like express a special thanks to Paramount Senior Living for their care of Bert as well as the neighbors who assisted Bert and TJ while living in their home. She was a faithful member of the Flatwoods Church of God as well as a choir member which she enjoyed greatly. In her last days one of her comforts was singing while listening to gospel songs. May she Rest In Peace. Her funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Rollins Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Stamper officiating. Visitation is two hours before the service. Flowers will be accepted and appreciated or memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
