NANCY BOLEY BLANTON, 90, of Huntington, passed away at Cabell-Huntington Hospital, Wednesday May 16, 2018. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Buffalo Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Jayne officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. She was born December 2, 1927 in Wayne Co., a daughter of the late Russell and Sally Mathis Boley. She was a member of the Kenova United Baptist Church and was an avid bowler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin “Red” Blanton and daughter, Debbie Tatum. Survivors include two beloved sons and their wives, Gene Hiroskey (Sherlene) and Michael Blanton (Patti); grandchildren, Andrew Catalina and Justin Blanton (Crystal); greatgrandchildren, Morgan Middleton (Alex), Lexie Blanton and Delanie Blanton; and great-great grandchildren, River Middleton and Shiloh Middleton. She also leaves a very special caregiver that was more like a sister and second mother, Lynn Thompson and caregiver, Mary Bradshaw; two special cousins, Sally Henderson and Delkenia Mills and a host of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buffalo Valley Missionary Baptist Church 872 Buffalo Creek Road Huntington, WV 25704.
