  1. I moved to Miami, Fl in 1969 at the age of 20, but returned to my roots (Kenova) each year without fail until Co-vid. I had not seen my cousin, Nancy, for at least 15 years but I so remember her and she was always warm and friendly. As a child I recall attending a family event at the Ward farm – I believe a bridal or baby shower, and the brothers were playing their music and singing. I learned the song, “Jambalya, Crawfish Pie” that night. To this day it’s on my playlist. I so miss how things were back then, simple and wholesome. I send you my deepest sympathy. GOD Bless

  2. I am shocked to learn that Nancy has gone on to be with the Lord. We are cousins and friends on facebook. Nancy’s grandmother Anna Ward was my grandfather’s sister. We always called her Aunt Annie and loved her also.
Love & prayers to her girls and grandchildren. May the Lord give you peace, love and comfort during this time.
