David Leo Ball

David Leo Ball, 71, of Kenova, WV passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at his residence. David Leo was born May 26, 1952 in Kenova a son of the late James Leo and Donna Jean Wheeler Ball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Deborah Sizemore. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Leigh (John) Stafford; one son and daughter-in-law Matthew (Becky) Ball; six grandchildren Hudson, Mack and Teddy Stafford, Abigail, Logan and Lincoln Ball and his partner and best friend for over twenty years, Vickie Holley. Leo graduated from Ceredo-Kenova High School in 1970 and was a salesman for Con-Jel and a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 93 Kenova. David Leo made many lifelong friends at Ceredo-Kenova High School. He cherished these friendships and always looked forward to spending time with his friends. He was a loving father and Papaw, who always told everyone how much he loved them. He made many trips to Kentucky and Colorado to make lasting memories with his kids and grandkids. He will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him. Friends are encouraged to join us at the America Legion Post 93 on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 for a celebration of life at 5:00 P.M. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova with Mr. Stevie Karr officiating. Interment will follow in Cyrus Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 – 2:00 PM Thursday, December 21, 2023 at the funeral home. Flowers will be appreciated or memorial donations may be made in David Leo’s memory to any area youth sports.
