Dorothy Marie Kimbler Hale, 85, of Kenova, WV., passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Graveside service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday April 1, 2024 at Maple Hill Cemetery with Pastor Frank Donnely officiating. Dorothy was born in Huntington, WV. a daughter of the late David and Mary Carver Kimbler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Roger Kimbler; son-in-law Larry Walters; grandson Flem Walters and great-grandson Cadence Walters. She is survived by five children Connie (Bo) Sloan, Gerry (Denise) Hale, Rick Hale, Violet Walters and Della Hale; one sister Thelma Frazier; 18 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a wonderful lady as well as a child of God. Known her for over 40 years. she was always there if I needed to talk, didn’t matter if it was before during or after church. She will always be in my heart. Praying for her family.
