James David Duty, 66, of South Point, OH., passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Legacy Riverview. David was born July 31, 1958 in Huntington, a son of the late William and Joyce Wallin Duty. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother Russ Duty. Survivors include daughters Jessica Sparks (Todd), Chelsi McLain (Nicholas) and Laura Duty; two grandchildren Aubrey Rutherford and Haydin McLain; sister Sue Midkiff (Tom); brother Mark Duty (Lori); nieces and nephew Christopher Duty (Amanda), Courtney Midkiff (Bob), Natalie Geise, Zach Duty and Kyle Duty and numerous great nieces and nephews.
