Jeanetta Joanna Ratcliff Ferrell, 71 of Ceredo, W.Va. passed away on January 25, 2024 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born May 26, 1952 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Roy “Steve” and Betty Irons Ratcliff. Jeanetta was employed by the Wayne County Board of Education as an Executive Secretary with 33 years of service. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Ceredo where she was involved in the Good News Club, the Snak Pak Ministry and she helped with the children on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Jeanetta was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Jaiyme Michelle Mills and a brother; Steven Scott Ratcliff. She is survived by a brother, Johnathan Lee Ratcliff; she also leaves behind two very special children to whom she was Nana, Dria and Shooter Parker; the parents of these special children, Jimmy and Nicole Parker and their grandparents, Dale and Dinah Ledbetter; and special friends, Kate Oldham and Cindy Lowe. Visitation will be Monday, January 29, 2024 from 11:00 am until noon at the First Baptist Church of Ceredo, Fellowship Hall. Funeral services will begin at noon with Pastor Jeff Canterbury officiating. Burial will follow in Ceredo Crescent Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rollinsfh.com.
