John Denver Milam

John Denver Milam, 91, of Kenova, WV passed away on Wednesday April 22, 2026 in Huntington, WV. He was born August 28, 1934 in Charleston, WV a son of the late Romie Jacob and Pearl Cornelius Milam. John served in the US Navy and members of American Legion Post 93 Kenova Honor Guard will provide military honors. John worked as an operator for Marathon Petroleum. He loved Jesus and faithfully served his Lord as a member of the 20th Street Baptist Church in Kenova. John also loved his family and those left behind will celebrate his life and mourn his passing. He was an avid bowler and greatly enjoyed his teammates and friends on the Tuesday Bowling League at the Strike Zone Bowling Center. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Mary Lou Hlusko, Ira Milam, Wanda Moore, Anna Whittington, Charles Milam and Roy Milam. John is survived by one son, Chris Greggory Milam and his wife, Benita; one daughter, Kim Milam-Cameron; a sister, Rose Flanagan; grandchildren, Mason Johannesen and his wife, Jennifer, Seth Milam and his wife, Morgan, Alex Milam, Mary Ashton and her husband, Brian and Kasey Milam Cameron; great grandchildren, Jaize Johannesen, Kaiden Milam and Jackson Milam; many other family members and a special friend, John Crawford. Visitation will be Monday April 27, 2026 from 11:00 to Noon with funeral services beginning at Noon at Rollins Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Christian officiating.   2. I am so sorry to see where John has passed away. I’m glad that David and I got to see him and talk with him. My prayers are with you and Chris. I won’t be back home by then but I’ll be praying and thinking of you. Love you guys.
