Edwin Lee Layman, 61, of Kenova, W.Va. husband of the late Kim McCormick Layman, died Friday, February 14, 2020 at CMAC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, W.Va. Ed was born May 24, 1958 in Clarksburg, W.Va. a son of the late, Ron and Ruth Merryman Layman. He retired from the State of West Virginia Department of Highways where he worked as a traffic engineer. Ed was past president of the C-K Autumnfest for the last ten years. He was on the Wayne County Fair Board and was a member of the City of Kenova Park Board. Ed was a musician playing music for over 40 years. He is survived by two sons, Robert Edwin (Danielle) Layman and David Bruce Layman; his grandchildren, Bryce, David, Brandy, and Dylan Layman, Kyla Korzun and Jenna. Rollins Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rollinsfh.com.

Robbie, just could not believe it when we got the news. Had spoken to him a few days before. Give my Bryce a huge hug from me and tell him I love and miss him.
