John O’Dell, 79, of Wayne, WV. passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Maple Street Church of God in Kenova, where he attended,with Pastor Greg Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dock’s Creek Cemetery. He was born December 12, 1938 in Prichard, WV. a son of the late Loran and Cassie Gilkerson O’Dell. John was retired from the General Motors Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by nine siblings. Survivors include his beloved wife Sandra S. O’Dell; four children John Darrell O’Dell, Patty O’Dell, Nancy O’Dell and Michael Keith O’Dell; three step-children John Fouch (Khristina Shinn), Susan Michelle Hatten (Kenny) and Kevin Lee Fouch; twenty grandchildren; special great-granddaughter Macci Fouch and special great-grandson Joshua Fouch; several nieces, nephews and other family members.
