Timothy Allen Perry, Jr. 45, of Ona, W.Va. passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at his home. He is the son of Timothy A. and Jeannie Hardwick Perry of Huntington, W.Va. Timothy was born July 16, 1976 in Huntington, W.Va. He graduated from Vinson High School and was a member of the 1992 state championship golf team. He loved to golf and enjoyed the outdoors where he fished and hunted with his dad as a young man. He also enjoyed growing plants his mother would share with him and working in his garden. We’ve all heard it said that a dog is man’s best friend and that was certainly true for Timothy and his dog, Shelby. He was employed as a First Mate for Inland Marine where he worked on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. Timothy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lace and Mickey Hardwick; and by his paternal grandfather, Tom Perry. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Daniel Scott Perry and a daughter, Haleigh Brianne (Mike Burrell) Perry; a granddaughter, Linnea Grace Burrell; a brother, Matthew Vinson Perry; his paternal grandmother, Laura Perry; two uncles, Lace (Jamie) Hardwick and Tom (Sonia) Perry; two aunts, Paula (Philip) Blatt and Kim (Roger) Lewis, and several cousins. Timothy will be greatly missed by his family who loved him. Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, W.Va. is in charge of the private family arrangements, there will be no public services.
