Phyllis Gail York,84, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Friday, November 7, 2025 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Phyllis was born December 28, 1940 in Huntington, WV. a daughter of the late Irvin E. and Lora Porter Ashworth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Teddy Gene York and brother Dallas Ashworth. Survivors include two sons Gerald Carter and Rick Carter (Anna Jenkins) and three grandchildren Leslie, Anisa and Tim. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.
