  1. Bob was a wonderful kind, gentle spiritual man. We still have his CD’s and love to hear him sing. I know he was welcomed into Heaven by many, including my mom (Sister James Frazier), who thought the world of Bob & Carol. Carol, you are in my prayers. I love you ❤️

  2. “A life well lived” for family, community, church and especially Jesus Christ. It was the privilege of Ruth Ellen and me to serve with him in the 1980’s at Oakview Baptist Church. One simple story comes to mind to describe Bob’s quality. The husband of our Kenova pianist, Kathryn Fulks, suffered a stroke and was moved to the nursing home in Catlettsburg. Kathryn had no transportation and was limited financially. I do not recall how she made the morning trip, but Bob always picked her up on his way home from work in the evening. He never bragged about it, just did it because it was what Jesus would have done. That’s Bob. Great memories! Our prayers are with Carol and the entire family. God bless! God has certainly blessed us through Bob and Carole.

  3. Bob mentored my son, Casey Burdette, (along with Peggy Wellman), in playing the piano. When Casey was a child, he played for offering nearly every Sunday at Buffalo Valley Baptist, and Bob always encouraged him and gave him pointers on playing. Bob once told me that he learned how to play listening to Jerry Lee Lewis records 😂. Anyway, when Casey passed away, Bob sang at his funeral, and I know it was hard for him. Bob was such a good Christian man and an example to us all. He and Casey are in heaven together playing for their Lord now. My prayers and sympathy to the family.

  4. What a great Christian Man he was our neighbor for 14 years. When we moved to FL he came by and gave me a CD of his Christian sing group. Prayers for the family

  5. Praying for Carole and the rest of family. We were raised by the best, our grandmother’s were sisters, who are now rejoicing with him.
