Robert Harold Bare

Robert Harold Bare, 57, of Huntington, WV. passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 PM, Monday October 19, 2026 at Rollins Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin immediately following visitation, with Pastor Andrew Tennant officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. He was born October 28, 1968, in Huntington, WV. to Harold Glen Bare and the late Gladys Frasher Bare. He graduated from C-K High School in 1986, immediately enlisting in the US Navy, where he proudly served and was a rescue swimmer. He could fix anything, was an outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish. An avid Marshall football fan, he cheered on the Herd for years. He loved to play the drums and could prepare any pool for the season. As well as his mother he was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother Brady and Edith Frasher, and his best friend Ricky Pennington. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years Beth Bare, daughter Jodie (Sean) Lawrence, his son Brady (Bobby Jackson) Bare, sister Jackie Bare, Niece Hollie (Allen) Kinard, two nephews Owen and Jasper, great niece Addilyn Kinard, great nephew Landon, granddaughters Rylee, Ellie, and Raelynn, grandson Hunter, a sister-in-law Nikki (Shawn) Gilkerson, and beloved pup Sheba.
