STEVEN GRANT STONER, 67, of Kenova, W.Va., passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018, in The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova, with Chaplain Larry “Spidey” Franz, from Bikers for Christ, officiating. Interment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Steve was born September 12, 1950, in Huntington, W.Va., son of the late James Thomas and Marge Grant Stoner. He was the owner and operator of Gino’s of Kenova. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #313 of Huntington and the Fire and Iron Motorcycle Club Station 29 of Huntington, his special brothers. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Grant “Jamie” Stoner (Carla); one daughter, Tiffany Stoner; his fiancee’ Karen Kiser and her daughter Kimberly McComas; grandchildren Cassidy, Mason, Dylan, Emma and Zoey; sister Pam Stoner; his special Gino’s family; his friends he made through the many years, and his best friend “Big Thor.” Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova, W.Va. We are sorry that we were unable to attend Steve’s funeral today. Steve was a great cousin – fun, generous, and always willing to share advice on running a restaurant. We will miss him tremendously.
