Thelma Jean Parsley Bash, 84, of Kenova, WV passed away on Friday August 17, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. She was born October 2, 1933 in Kenova a daughter of the late Keather and Pauline LeMaster Parsley. Thelma retired from Great American Floor Care after over 50 years of service. She was a member of Kenova United Methodist Church and Thelma was a huge UK basketball fan. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Rusty” Bash; a son, Michael Lee Bash; a granddaughter, Tina Hibbard; a brother, Sherrill Parsley and a sister-in-law, Faye Parsley. She is survived by one daughter, Debby (Michael) Hibbard of Kenova; three granddaughters, Lisa (Phil) Fraley, Jamie Dawn (Christopher) Brown and Mikka Leann Bash (Ray Jordan); seven great grandchildren, Morgan Catalina (Alex) Middleton; Ryen, Ethan and Reese Fraley; Kyler Brown and Caiden and Kayleb Jordan; great, great grandchildren, Elijah, River and Shiloh Middleton; a brother, Howard Parsley; a sister, Sharon (Clifford) Canterbury; special friends, Jim Maddox and Brenda Bocook; her helpers, Doris Skeens, Brenda Marcum and Bonnie Lee; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2018 at Rollins Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Richards officiating. Visitation will be two hours before the service.
