Billie K. Shannon, 84, of Ceredo, WV., passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at the Heritage Center. Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Maple Hill Cemetery with Pastor Matthew Christian officiating. Billie was born April 20, 1940 in Kenova, WV. a daughter of the late William J. and Alice Robertson Shannon. Billie attended Ceredo-Kenova High School and was a retired custodian from the Wayne County Board of Education. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters Elizabeth Chaffins, Sylvia Brown and Tennessee Mann. Survivors include ten siblings Leo Shannon, Barbara Smith, Doug Shannon, Joann Ashley, Milton Shannon, Roger Shannon, Genie Shannon, Virgil “Dickie” Shannon, Karen Lloyd and Sharon Shannon. There will be no public visitation. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:45 on Thursday. Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova is assisting the family.
