James “Pete” Lyle Davis, Jr

James “Pete” Lyle Davis, Jr.,85, of Kenova, WV., passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday December 18, 2024 at Rollins Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Byard officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. James was born June 7, 1939 in Ceredo, WV a son of the late James Lyle Davis and Betty Berry Keyser. James loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed wood carving. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Wanda Lee Davis. Survivors include children Jamie Falls (Gary), Suzi Mills (Rich), Jimmy Davis (Ruth) and Stacy Davis (Alisha); brother Hurston “Tiny” Davis (Brenda); grandchildren Josh Falls (Ashley), Cassidy Falls, Bob Mills, Alyssa Kazee (Brad), Jon Mills, Cameron Braxton Davis (Sierra),  Kalee Railey (Chris), Jaxon Davis; 10 great-grandchildren; a special companion Sandy Peterson and his favorite dog Pete.
