Deborah Jean May “Debbie”, 71, of Kenova, WV left this earth quietly and peacefully and entered Heaven with her husband and son holding her hand on Friday, November 28, 2025. Other family members were at the bedside. Debbie was a daughter of the late Cullie and Minerva Ratcliff Williamson. She was preceded in death by her son, Brad and brother, Roger Williamson. She is survived by the love of her life of 51 years, John May; son Jason; sisters Geneva (Joe) George of Huntington, Sheri (Steve) Brewer of Crum and brother Larry (Jan) Williamson of Alabama; sister-in-law, Ada Williamson of Crum; Uncle James (Mary) Williamson of Kenova and a slew of nieces, nephews and cousins. Debbie loved spending time with her family, being on the water, reading and working word and jigsaw puzzles. A devoted teacher in Wayne County WV. for many years, she was loved and respected by her students. A memorial gathering for friends and family will begin at 1:00 P.M.
