Dixon-Frasher, Marilyn I “Myrt”

Marilyn Inez “Myrt” Dixon Frasher, 80, of Wayne, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at the Hospice House of Huntington.  She was the widow of Bobby Joe Frasher.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, William “Buck” and Inez Browning Dixon, a brother Tony Dixon, a sister Stephanie Evans, two sons Robert J. Frasher and Timothy W. Frasher and two grandsons Brandon S. Frasher and Michael Derek Caudill.  She is survived by her daughter Jennifer “Sas” (Dave)Caudill,  a brother Kevin (Sarah) Dixon, a sister Sydney (John) Adkins, a brother–in-law Bo Evans, sister-in-law Cora Dixon,  grandchildren Alex, Frasher and Kady Caudill,  Felicia Frasher Pyles, Joshua and Jacob Frasher,  Shane and Brent Frasher, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friends Rich Simmons and Sugar Baby.  She was a faithful member of the Ceredo Church of Christ and a woman of many talents:  gardening, quilting, crafting, singing and collecting unusual things.  Through it all Granny Myrt was still Myrt.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at the Ceredo Church of Christ.   Visitation will be from 10:30 A.M. till 12:00 P.M. before the service.  Burial will follow at the Browning Cemetery.

  1. I went to school with Robert and Tim. And I met SAS and Myrt a couple times when I was at my friend Pam Napiers who live across from them. They were very nice people. My deepest condolences to her family .

  2. I truly loved Myrt…she never changed , no matter how many times you saw her..she was always the same.

    My heart goes out to her family, I know they will miss her.
