SAMUEL CARTER WORKMAN, 77, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Monday, May 28, 2018, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. There will be a graveside funeral service, 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Alley Cemetery, off of Centerville Road in Prichard, with Pastor Zach Johnson officiating. He was born May 27, 1941, in Prichard, W.Va., a son of the late Etta Canterbury Workman. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Janet Dean Workman. Survivors include two sons, Eric Workman and Michael Workman; one daughter, Melissa Workman; three grandchildren, Millie, Macie and Maggie Workman; one brother, Tom Workman and one sister Rita Joos.
