Glenn Elwood Vance,82, of Huntington, WV., passed away Monday, March 9, 2025 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 4:00 P.M. Friday March 14, 2025 at Rollins Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Tennant officiating. Glenn was born June 17, 1942 in Wayne, WV. a son of the late Pat Smith and Nettie Vance. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lorraine Maynard Vance; son-in-law Robert McClaskey; four sisters Rose, Juanita, Evelyn and Ruby; one brother Junior and a niece Barbara Williams. He is survived by a son Steven Vance; daughter Vicki McClaskey; grandchildren Brittani McClaskey, Hannah Prichard and Addison Vance; great-grandchildren Camryn Ervin and Stella Prichard and a sister Thelma Vance and a host of nieces and nephews. So sorry to hear of Glenn’s passing. We were coworkers for a number of years. I learned a lot from Glenn about work projects and about life in general. He loved his family. I feel like I know them all even though I never met any of them. I wish peace and comfort to his family.
