Hallett Roswell Eddy III

Hallett Roswell Eddy III, 67, of Prichard WV, left his earthly home on September 15, 2023. He was born March 29, 1956, to Hallett and Mina Lee Eddy.

Ross is survived by Anita, his wife of 25 years; his children Shelby Hall (Travis), Jacob Eddy (Mary), Crissa Keefer (Mason); and his grandchildren Lake, Isla, Zack, Jake, Ellie, Sofi, Eli, Reace.

Upon graduation from CK High School Ross attended Marshall University and was then employed by Calgon Carbon Corporation for over 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Kenova where he faithfully sang in the choir, sat on several committees, and worked in various ministries over the last 25 years.

Most importantly, he was the absolute best Poppa, Dad, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. A wonderful example of unconditional love, positivity, and faith. A lover of good food, good music, and all things outdoors. He had an infectious laugh that filled the room and a beautiful voice that he used for many years to serve the Lord. Our loss is truly heaven’s gain. How blessed we were to have someone that makes saying goodbye so hard.

As Ross requested his body is being donated for the furtherance of science. A celebration of life will be held on September 20th at First Baptist Church of Kenova. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm with a service to follow at 3:00 pm.
