Harold Kenneth “Kenny” Pancake, 75, of Ironton, Ohio passed away February 20, 2024 at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born August 6, 1948 in Ironton a son of the late Harold Austin and Hessie Stewart Pancake. Kenny was a truck driver for 25 years with Ashland/Marathon and retired in 2009. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army, member of the American Legion Post 806 and a member of South Hill Long Beard of Lawrence County Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Beverly Pancake and Brenda Ross. He is survived by three children Jody Jones (Joe), Howard Donald Pancake (Becky) and Kendora Pancake; grandchildren Haley Jones (Ryley), Isabelle Pancake, Colt Pancake, Joey Jones, Zander Pancake, Jacob Jones, Austin Mcfann, Jaxson Jones; great-grandchild Wrenley Jones; two sisters Barbara Stevens (Curt) and Dianna Stevens; two brothers Mike Pancake (Christy) and Jerry Pancake (Cheryl) and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service for friends and family will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Woodland Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in the fellowship hall, the address is 116 Township Road 108 Ironton, Ohio 45638. I was saddened to hear of his death. Kenny was a gentleman with a sweet and kind man. He told me one time he loved the ,I Come To The Garden Alone. I believe he is now there in the splendor of our King, Jesus.
He wasn’t only my brother he was my best friend , I will mis him , I will see him again someday
