  2. Davey was truly such a kind person. I have great memories of him from years ago with the fire department. He has been a great partner for us at CKES! When you drive around and see those little Wonder cloud decals on cars, that is Davey! He was always ready for whatever ideas our PTO sent him each year. We cannot thank him enough for what he has done for our school and community. He will be missed by so many. My condolences to Christie, Mason, Jayden and all that knew and loved him.

  3. So very sorry to see that Dave’s has passed. I was blessed to have had Davey as a student when teaching home bound in Wayne County. Davey and his parents were so kind to me. Also enjoyed trout fishing with Davey and Pete. I am truly heart broken.

  4. Such a kind, loving person lost. Sending so much love and prayers to Christie, the kids, and all his family- fire department and friends as well. Davey was such a great person and our community and hearts will forever feel the void from his loss.

  5. So very sorry for the loss of your David. We will keep you in our thoughts as you go through this unimaginable pain. Love you.

  6. Christie,
Larry and I will not be back in time to attend and I am truly sorry. I just want to hug you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please know that I am here if you me for anything.

  7. Davey and I grew up together and he was a great friend. He was one of the most genuine, kind, and generous people I’ve ever known. He once refurbished magnetic parade signs for my grandfather (who was WV’s last living Pearl Harbor Survivor). When I asked him how much I owed him, he replied, “He’s already paid for it and more. Thank him for his service”. Davey was a true patriot, public servant, and servant of God! Selfishly, we will all miss him. Gratefully, I know he is in an amazing place that I could never ask him to return from, and look forward to seeing him again someday. We cannot imagine the eternal glory that Davey is witnessing!!!

  8. Christie, so sorry he’s gone. Our hearts ache for you and the babies. Larry and I aren’t able to make the trip home, but we will be there with you in spirit. We love you all so much and we will miss Davey forever. God bless you.

    Larry and Janet Howard
