Teresa Diane Adkins George, 67, of Kenova, W.Va. passed away July 9, 2026 in the Ohio State University James Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born May 1, 1959 in Huntington, W. Va. A daughter of the late Thurman and Thelma Smith Adkins. She worked for many years as an Admitting/Registration Manager for Cabell Huntington Hospital. She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles George; her sister, Gloria Drown; brothers, Bob and Larry Adkins; nieces, Deanna Swisher, Barbi Adkins, Lori Myers and Janet Nelson; nephews, Eric Adkins, Sam Drown, Bobby Adkins, and Jerry Adkins; and a host of great nieces and nephews. Teresa loved to read and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of life service will be held at the Lifesong Church, 438 Boyd Street in Russell, KY, of which she was a member, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Keith Menhouse officiating.
