Thomas Eugene Jarrell

Thomas Eugene Jarrell, 70, of Ceredo, WV., passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024 at his residence. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday May 29, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Ceredo, of which he was a member, with Pastor Jeff Canterbury officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Tom was born February 28, 1954 in Huntington, WV. a son of the late Wilbur  Jarrell and the late Opal Zornes Jarrell Scarberry. Tom was a retired Huntington Police Officer and also retired from Calgon with thirty plus years of service. He also worked as a guard for the judges in the Federal system and was also a Mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Linda Null. He is survived by his wife Colleen VanHecke Jarrell; two daughters Jessica Mathis  (Chuck) and Amanda Buell (Craig); four grandchildren Aidan Napier, Macee Buell, Gunnar Mathis and Ellie Buell; niece Michelle McAnallan; nephew Brian Null and brother-in-law Whitey Null.
