Vernon Arthur Stevens, 76, of Wayne, WV. passed away Monday, January 13, 2025 at his residence. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Kenova Church of Christ with Minister Chris Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Stevens Family Cemetery. He was born April 28, 1948 in Huntington, WV. a son of the late Burgess and Trudy Jones Stevens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Timothy Stevens, Samuel Stevens, and John T. Stevens and two sisters Judy Thompson and Susie North. He is survived four children Tammy Smith (Mike), Tina Nicely, Thomas Stevens (Ruth) and Todd Stevens; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five brothers Jack Stevens, David Stevens, Mark Stevens, Jessie Stevens and Bo Stevens; two sisters Renee Smith and Roxy Akers and numerous nieces and nephews.
