Donnie Nelson Joseph,70, of Prichard, W.Va. passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted noon Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Kenova Church of Christ with Brother Chris Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Ward-Lewis Cemetery. He was born April 11, 1951 in Lancaster, Ky. a son of the late Emery and Georgia Lee McDaniel Joseph. He retired from the Wayne Wal-Mart. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Gary Lee Joseph. Survivors include his beloved wife of 50 years Loretta Ward Joseph; son Randall Patrick Joseph (Sonya Mayo Joseph); daughter Susan Renee Parks (Dwayne); son Phillip Matthew Joseph (Mindy Hunt Joseph) and daughter Angela Maria Adkins (Jeremy); eight grandchildren Kaitlin Shay Joseph, Miranda Lee Joseph, Levi Patrick Joseph, Kayla Renee Parks, Kyle Alexander Parks, Andrea Marie Bockway (Chase), Alexis Paige Adkins and Annabelle Grace Joseph; three great-grandchildren Jaxon Chase Bockway, Olivia Jayne Bockway and James Kenneth Bockway. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Roger & Regina Ward; David & Diana Nelson; Betty & Ronnie Arnoldt and Beverly & Lewis Lemons; cousins Freda Shilot; Allen Day and Julienne Abney; uncles Earl Tankerlsley and Curtis Tankersley and a host of other family members. Adkins, E. Oneal

Edward Oneal Adkins, 82 of Kenova, WV,  went to be with The Lord on Friday January 7, 2022.  He is survived by his devoted wife, Judy, sister, Loretta Earl (Bill), son, Greg Adkins (Suzanne), daughter, Kim Maynard (Johnny), and stepdaughter Kelli Halstead-Herr (Anthony).  He was Pawpaw to 5 grandchildren, Kecia, Kaytlin, Jonathan, Thomas, and MaKenna, as well as 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Talmer and Grace Martin Adkins, brother, Cletis Adkins, and sister Recie Erwin. He retired from Transfab Inc./Terrell Industries after 40 years in 2001. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Culloden.  He was a member of the Northeastern Kentucky Game Association.  He was an avid hunter, loved running his rabbit dogs, and was a Master Gardener.  Funeral will be Monday, January 10, 2022 at 1pm at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, WV.  Service by his Pastor, and brother-in-law Claude Spurlock, with visitation 1 hour preceding.  Burial will be at Docks Creek Maple Hill Cemetery following the service.

Kimber, Noah

Noah Kimbler, 86, of Huntington, W.Va. passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Huntington Health Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 10, 1935 a son of the late David and Mary Ann Carver Kimbler. Noah retired from ACF Industries. He married Mary E. Fernandez who preceded him in death in 2008 and he was also preceded by a granddaughter, LaTisha Rae Kimbler. He was a member of the First Independent Missionary Baptist Church and had been attending Locust Grove Baptist Church. Noah is survived by a son, David J. (Beverly) Kimbler; a daughter, LaLisa (Don) Vickers; a brother, Scott Kimbler; two sisters, Thelma Frasher and Dorothy Hale; two grandchildren, Jennifer Hobbs, Cheynoa (Casey) Brooks; five great grandchildren, David Tyler Hobbs, Addyson Hobbs, Caden Wheeler, Leah Wheeler and Tucker Brooks. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday January 5, 2022 at the Abbey of Serenity at Docks Creek Cemetery with Rev. Randle Robertson officiating. David Hayes Watts,72, of Huntington, WV. passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova with Brothers Jackie Nelson, Wornie Meeks and Don Maynard officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with military rites being given by the American Legion Post 93 Honor Guard. David was born August 9, 1949 in Huntington, a son of Mary June Phelps Watts and the late Caudill Hayes Watts. He was a veteran having served in U.S. Army and was a member of the Prichard United Baptist Church. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a daughter Christina Marchelle Watts. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Phyllis Nelson Watts; son, Glendon Watts; daughter and son-in-law Sarah Jack (Geary Jack II); brother, Paul Watts; two sisters and brothers-in-law Alice Gail Dowis (Bob) and Kelly Laney (Jerry) and six grandchildren Alison, Angela, Andrew, Alexandrea, Geary and Nolan. Fisher, Kevin H

Kevin Howard Fisher, 61, of Kenova, W.Va. passed away December 29, 2021 in Huntington, W.Va. at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Kevin was a beloved, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was born in Parkersburg, W.Va. on December 1, 1960 a son of the late Kenneth Howard Fisher, Jr. and Gloria McQuinn Looney of Wayne, W.Va. Kevin was a graduate of C-K High School, Class of 1979 where he played basketball for the Wonders. He was a technician contractor working for the EPA. He loved to fish and being outdoors. He could fix anything you needed, enjoyed wood working, and was an avid Duke basketball fan. Kevin loved his family including his siblings, daughter and especially his grandson. He is survived by his daughter, Keisha Randolph, her husband, Shawn and the apple of his eye, Charles Jett Randolph who lovingly called him Poppy, all of Proctorville, OH; his brothers, Kirk Fisher of Durham, NC and Kent Fisher of Memphis, TN; his sisters, Karen (Greg) Webb of Wayne, WV and Kim (Geno DeLaini) Fisher of Durham, NC and many nieces, nephews, exceptional lifelong friends and special friend, Silvia Olivares. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Howard Fisher, III. William “Bill” M. Yates,61, of Ceredo, W.Va. passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 15, 1960 in Perry, FL. a son of the late Charles Edward and Elizabeth Rachel Bills Yates. He was a former custodian with the Wayne County School System at Spring Valley High School. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Charles Yates; Loretta Carter and Gretta Yates. Survivors include his beloved wife Melinda “Susie” Yates; two sons Jeremy Yates and Joshua Yates; siblings Danny Bills; Phyllis Carter; Glenn Yates; Herschel Yates; Lillian Remak; Patty Rose; Tony Yates; Barbara Yates; Tammy Hale and Greg Yates and a special aunt Elsie Hubbard. Perry, Jr, Timothy A

Timothy Allen Perry, Jr. 45, of Ona, W.Va. passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at his home. He is the son of Timothy A. and Jeannie Hardwick Perry of Huntington, W.Va. Timothy was born July 16, 1976 in Huntington, W.Va. He graduated from Vinson High School and was a member of the 1992 state championship golf team. He loved to golf and enjoyed the outdoors where he fished and hunted with his dad as a young man. He also enjoyed growing plants his mother would share with him and working in his garden. We’ve all heard it said that a dog is man’s best friend and that was certainly true for Timothy and his dog, Shelby. He was employed as a First Mate for Inland Marine where he worked on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. Timothy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lace and Mickey Hardwick; and by his paternal grandfather, Tom Perry. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Daniel Scott Perry and a daughter, Haleigh Brianne (Mike Burrell) Perry; a granddaughter, Linnea Grace Burrell; a brother, Matthew Vinson Perry; his paternal grandmother, Laura Perry; two uncles, Lace (Jamie) Hardwick and Tom (Sonia) Perry; two aunts, Paula (Philip) Blatt and Kim (Roger) Lewis, and several cousins. Lynne Jane Merritt Skean, of Huntington, WV passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born July 28, 1942 a daughter of the late Charles “Dodge” and Lillie White Merritt. Jane worked as a teller for the First National Bank of Kenova. She attended the Poplar Street Church of God in Kenova when she was still able to go to church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Wesley Merritt; and three sisters, Juanita Eskew, Elizabeth Richards and Annie May Talbert. Jane is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jerri (Jim) Robinson; Jerri’s father, Charles Skean; four grandchildren, Aaron (Charlotte) Fleming, Adam (Jessica) Fleming, Andrew Fleming and Aubrey Fleming; 10 great grandchildren, Alice and Gwen Fleming, Michael, Maddison and Kenna Fleming, Emilia, Elizabeth and John Fleming, Anne Goode and Brenna Gue; three brothers and their spouses, Charles Leonard Merritt, Dallas (Brenda) Merritt and Roy Dale (Sandy) Merritt and several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Graham, Barbara C

Barbara Carol Graham, 79, of Chesapeake, OH. passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born February 27, 1942 in Kenova, W.Va. a daughter of the late Dorwin Davis and the late Louise Canterbury Milum. She was an avid supporter of animal shelters and a strong police supporter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Larry David Graham and a daughter Barbara Ann Marcum. Survivors include a son James “Darrin” Marcum (Tracy); daughter Gina S. Milum; grandchildren Jessica Rollins and Brittany White (Caleb); three great-grandchildren Dylan, Nora Jo and Judah and a special cousin Bryan Hensley. She was born February 12, 1930 in Peach Orchard, Ky. a daughter of the late Elias and Diane Scarberry George. She was a former custodian with the Wayne County School System with 19 years of service and was employed with Tudor’s Biscuit World for 10 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clyde Young, Sr.; son, Clyde Young, Jr.; daughter, Ruby Gail Young; sister, Ruby George and three brothers, Chester, Gene and Elias, Jr. George. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law Teresa Mannon (Jerry) and Brenda Young; one son Larry Keith Young; sister and brother-in-law Dottie Meade (Junior); two grandchildren Michael and Jeremy and six great-grandchildren.
