Nona Maxine Tucker

Nona Maxine Tucker,90, of Huntington, WV., passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at her residence. Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 P.M. Thursday December 19, 2024 at Rollins Funeral Home. Nona was born July 22, 1934 in Ceredo, WV a daughter of the late Frank Edward and Elizabeth Bird Arthur. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son Jackson Lee Wilson; two sisters Ernestine Baugh and Frances Johnson and a brother Donald Arthur. Survivors include three children Frank Brady Forrest Wilson, Francie Lynn Phillips, Michael Todd Tucker and several nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Little Victories Animal Rescue Shelter, 3589 Wire Branch Road, Ona, WV 25545 (online at: http://www.littlevictories.org).   Friends may call one hour prior to the service.   1. No daughter was more committed to pleasing her Mother and yearning for her love than Francie. Francie always showed unconditional love. Others in the family could learn from it. Nona lived a long, complicated and busy life. Her outgoing personality and service to others was a gift from God. Nannan you will be so missed. No more pain. You’re with Jesus now.

  3. My deepest condolences and sympathy on your loss. It is refreshing to see you express your love and compassion towards a great Mother. I regret I was unable to make a physical appearance but rest assure my thoughts were with you
